To help adult educators gain confidence and skills in using the internet and adapting new technology tools into their teaching practice, we offer free, on-demand, face-to-face Web Savvy workshops across Ontario. NEW! 2010 Web-based tools and the new Common Core Basic Education Program (English Montreal School Board) A series of face-to-face and online workshops introducing English Montreal School Board's literacy instructors to Web-based tools that can enhance classroom teaching. The training will explore the pedagogical possibilities of Web-based technologies in connection with content from the new Quebec Common Core Basic Education Program for adult learners. The workshop series will help teachers feel more comfortable using new technologies and show them how to manage their students’ use of the Web in the classroom and beyond.
